Join our team as a Summer Laboratory Intern and embark on a rewarding journey of learning and professional development. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while honing your skills in a supportive and dynamic laboratory environment.</span></p><p><span><b>Duties included but not limited to:</b></span></p><ul><li><span></span><span>Assist in sample preparation for lead in paint and Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) under the guidance of experienced laboratory staff.</span></li><li><span></span><span>Support the safe disposal of lead digestate samples, following established protocols and regulatory guidelines.</span></li><li><span></span><span>Participate in sample preparation for respirable silica filters, gaining valuable insights into environmental monitoring procedures.</span></li></ul><p><span><b>Qualifications</b></span></p><ul><li><span></span><span>Enrolled in a relevant degree program, with a strong emphasis on inorganic chemistry.</span></li><li><span></span><span>Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferred, but not required.</span></li><li><span></span><span>Familiarity with analytical instrumentation or a willingness to learn.</span></li><li><span></span><span>Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols.</span></li><li><span></span><span>Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.</span></li><li><span></span><span>Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards professional development.</span></li></ul><p><span><b>Additional Information</b></span></p><ul><li><span><b></b></span><span><b>Hours:</b></span></li></ul><p><span>Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM</span></p><ul><li><span><b></b></span><span><b>Duration:</b></span></li></ul><p><span>May 6th to August 30th</span></p><p><span>Join us for a summer of discovery and growth as you gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of environmental chemistry.
