*About the Opportunity*
Under the direction of the CFO, the HR Generalist's primary goal is to execute all the human resource functions and for driving significant change to ensure alignment between JBS Equipment's culture and values and its employment practices and policies.
*JBS Equipment* is a rapidly growing manufacturing company located in *Mission, BC *providing market-leading solutions to the agriculture industry.
*SUMMARY: *
The Human Resources Generalist role is responsible for supporting operational needs related to employee hiring, orientation, training requirements, assisting in disciplinary action, meeting retention goals, and maintaining well-organized documentation. The role assists in achieving company?s growth and profitability requirement. The Human Resources Generalist assists members of the management team and is jointly responsible for contributing to achieving strategic and operational targets, as wells as overall business aims.
The role provides supporting services to all departments.
*GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: *
? Responsible for the recruitment and retention of all employees
? Ensure all employees receive the appropriate training and development
? Track key metrics for employee hiring and retention
? Ensure that all departments have the optimum number of employees
? Assist all departments with annual performance appraisals
? Enhance the safety culture through hiring and training best practices
? Maintain and organize all HR related documentation and procedures
? The HR Generalist role carries indirect managerial responsibility for all employees
*REQUIREMENTS: *
? 3+ years as an HR Generalist, experience recruiting tradespeople in manufacturing or industrial work environment
? Demonstrated superior communication skills, conflict resolution, tact, and confidentiality
? Working knowledge of Canadian employment standards and best practices for HR policies and procedures
? Experience with full cycle recruiting
? Ability to build trust and work effectively with employees at all levels in the organization
? Relevant computer experience and knowledge to maintain documentation in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
? HR designation an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
