Job details
You will be responsible to provide great quality cleanliness to our hotel guests. You are responsible to assign and ensure this department tracks productivity, costs and assignments. This means you will be involved in the assignment of daily tasks to our Housekeeping Team Members. You are responsible for inspect and ensure cleanliness of the guest rooms and the public areas of the hotel.

*RESPONSIBILITIES**: *
· Takes control of the department while assigning and delegating work tasks to the team and key distribution
· Distributes the rooms to the room attendants using the Hotel Management Computer System.
· Ensures access to supplies storage. Keeps it clean, organized and secure.
· Ensures linen is provided to room attendants on a timely basis.
· Follows up on early and late check out. Ensures late check out rooms are clean.
· Ensures all rooms are cleaned to the brand standards.
· Checks the proper working condition of all devices in guest rooms including lighting, toilets, television, etc.
· Responsible for maintaining the master key which he/she holds.
· Maintains and verifies room status with the Hotel Management Computer System.
· Reports any deficiencies in "room quality" (including damage) and verifies that corrections are made.
· Responsible for controlling all lost and found articles and calls the guest the same day.
· Responsible for the laundry service of the hotel. When laundry is processed outside the hotel, ensures all quantities are returned.
· Ensures that staff are properly groomed and attired, including proper and complete uniforms with name tag.
· Other Housekeeping tasks as assigned by the Manager.
*CANDIDATE REQUIRMENTS: *
* Must have experience working with Opera, Front Desk or Housekeeping for at least 2 years
* Minimum of 1 years experience in supervisory role
* Strong analytical abilities, detail oriented and able to multitask
* Must be computer literate
* Pleasant manner and excellent communication skills (written and spoken English)
* Able to lift up to 25kg from floor to waist and from waist to shoulder
* Able to push and pull 25kg cart
* Able to stand/walk/bend/lift throughout 8 hours shift.
* Flexibility in shifts: evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Marriott and Opera Experience a Must
