The Board invites applications from qualified teachers for the following position: <p> LOCATION: <p> Resurrection School, Brantford; Holy Cross School, Brantford; and Sacred Heart School, Paris GRADE(S)/SUBJECT(S): <p> STEM FTE: <p> 1.0 FTE QUALIFICATION(S): <p> Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate; Additional Qualifications in Science, Math or Technology preferred <p>In accordance with the current OECTA Collective Agreement, priority placement will be given to any qualified redundant and supernumerary permanent teachers in order of seniority before offering the position to an Occasional Teacher.<p>If the assignment remains unfilled, qualified applications from the Occasional Teachers List will be considered. <p>In the event the assignment is still unfilled, qualified applicants that are not on the Occasional Teachers List may be considered.<p>The Board shall access and review the information contained in an applicant's portfolio for hiring purposes. Applicants are encouraged to ensure their portfolio is current and contains all relevant information, including information about Additional Qualifications that are not currently listed on your Certificate of Qualification as issued by the Ontario College of Teachers.<p>The end date of this assignment is subject to change, as applicable. <p>Applicants b eing considered for this position shall be contacted via email and asked to confirm their interest in the position, by the end of the business day after the posting closes, by responding to the email. Applicants that fail to respond within the timeline shall be deemed unavailable for the assignment. <p>About Us: <p>As a Catholic Learning Community, the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board provides faith formation and academic excellence, which enables our graduates to live a life of love and service in Christ. The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board provides a Christ-centered education to approximately 12,000 students within 28 elementary schools, 3 secondary schools and a multisite Alternative Education school and 3 administrative offices.<p>The Board currently employs over 1500 permanent staff and approximately 350 casual and occasional staff which includes teachers who are supported by a team of consultants, principals and administrators and non-academic staff who work to ensure the best possible facilities, supports and resources are available to our students and the system. The Board encompasses the broad geographical area of the City of Brantford and the counties of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk.
