Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying plaster and other materials to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth and finished appearance. Your expertise in construction painting, drywall installation, blueprint reading, caulking, and general maintenance person skills will be essential in ensuring high-quality workmanship. Duties: - Prepare surfaces by cleaning and removing old plaster or paint - Mix plaster materials according to specifications - Apply plaster or other materials to walls, ceilings, and surfaces using hand tools or spray equipment - Smooth and level surfaces using trowels, brushes, or sandpaper - Repair cracks, holes, or other damages in existing plaster - Install drywall panels and apply joint compound to create a seamless finish - Read blueprints or specifications to determine the layout and dimensions of the plasterwork - Caulk gaps or joints to ensure airtightness and water resistance - Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters or painters to complete projects Experience: - Proven experience as a Plasterer or similar role in the construction industry - Strong knowledge of construction painting techniques and materials - Proficiency in drywall installation and finishing techniques - Ability to read and interpret blueprints or specifications - Skilled in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade - Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Note: All positions at our company are paid positions.
