Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Assess potential institutional, business or individual client markets. Calculate premiums. Establish client insurance coverage. Establish method of payment. Identify potential markets. Ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations and other policy requirements are completed. Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries. Provide customer service. Provide information concerning group and individual insurance packages, the range of risk coverage, benefits paid and other policy features. Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft and other types of insurance. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Supervise staff. Ensure compliance with government regulations. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Recruit, organize, train and manage staff. Identifying and investigating compliance issues. Coordinate work activities to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets. Supervision: 5-10 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Life Licence Qualification Program (LLQP).
