Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Dusty. Noisy. Outdoors. Work setting: Commercial. Industrial. Residential. Urban area. Various locations. Work in employer's/client's home. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints. Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster. Clean and prepare surfaces. Cure freshly plastered surfaces. Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets. Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency. Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry. Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination. Large workload. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. Tight deadlines. Walking. Work under pressure. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Hard hat. Mask. Safety glasses/goggles. Steel-toed safety boots. Tools.
