Our training programs are also a leader in the security industry, and they will help prepare you for advancements, as well as build your resume for a potential career in law enforcement.Job Description:Working on assigned shifts, you will work full time shifts providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to coded emergencies in a quick and efficient manner. You should display excellent customer service skills and be able to work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance. In this role, it is essential that you are physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods of time. This position is a high-caliber position and will also include the following responsibilities: Position Overview:The Security Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities and job performance of Security Officers assigned to all sites belonging to their health care facility. The Security Supervisor is expected to represent Paladin Security Group as well as the facility they are assigned to. Essential Job Functions:Provides leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and trainingEnsures all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shiftEnsures site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and hospital security policies and proceduresPlans and implements shift work schedulesEnsures all Security Officers have received the mandatory trainingMotivates staff and issues commendationsDisciplines staff when necessary and ensures proper documentation is passed onto head officeAttendance ManagementPerforms security auditsDocuments and investigates security incidents and complaintsCommunicates any concerns/issues with Client Service ManagerRequirements:At least two years' healthcare security experience in a team lead rolePost Secondary education in a law enforcement/security program from a recognized collegeWorking knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health ActSuperior written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacyInternational Association of Healthcare Security Services (IAHSS) certificateHighlights:Extensive Paid Industry TrainingBenefits & Other PerksOpportunities for Growth & AdvancementQualifications:Minimum of one year of experience in a Healthcare security role is requiredA Valid Ontario Security Guard LicenseProficient in English (both oral and written)Vulnerable Sector CheckCOVID Double VaccinationQualificationsPost secondary- LocationToronto, ON
