Perks!</b></p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary</li> <li>Excellent benefit package with premiums paid by the company</li> <li>RRSP Match</li> <li>Safety-minded organization</li> <li>Boot + safety wear allowance</li> <li>Tool allowance</li> <li>Stable, year-round employment with overtime available</li> <li>Continuous training, learning and development opportunities</li> <li>Fun-loving work environment with strong social responsibility</li> </ul> <p><b>What You?ll Be Doing</b></p> <p><i>Duties and Responsibilities:</i></p> <ul> <li>Inspect, service and maintain a diverse fleet of construction equipment including (but not limited to) earth-moving equipment, compaction equipment, and aerial equipment such as telehandlers, boom lifts and scissor lifts</li> <li>Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions and make required repairs</li> <li>Test repaired equipment for proper performance</li> <li>Maintain documentation of inspections, maintenance and work orders in a thorough and timely manner</li> <li>Adhere to all company Health and Safety Policies.</li> </ul> <p><b>What You?ll Bring to the Team</b></p> <p><i>Qualifications and Requirements:</i></p> <ul> <li>1 to 3 years of mechanical experience</li> <li>Experience working on construction equipment is an asset</li> <li>Valid G license with clean or satisfactory driver?s abstract is an asset (but not required)</li> <li>Must have a complete set of tools (or must be working on building a complete toolset)</li> <li>Strong desire to learn and develop as a Heavy Duty Mechanic</li> <li>Understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools as well as being capable of reading schematics</li> <li>Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner</li> <li>Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision</li> <li>Willing to work overtime, and occasional Saturday shifts (when required)</li> <li>Pride in what you do!</li> </ul> <p><i><b>Please note, to be considered for this position applicants should currently be residing in Canada and legally entitled to work.</b></i></p> <p>Want to learn more about this as well as other opportunities at Cooper?
