<p>We are looking for a Can-Am On-Road Electrical Technician. As a member of the engineering team and reporting to a BRP Chief Designer, your main mandate will be to study, design and develop various electrical and mechatronic systems for a recreational vehicle. You'll have the chance to be directly involved in the company's success through innovation and continuous improvement of its products. You'll be part of a dynamic and motivated team. </p> <p><strong>YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:</strong></p> <ul> <li><span>Working with the designers and engineers to design new parts, systems and vehicles</span></li> <li><span>Providing support for prototype vehicle assembly and diagnostics in the shop</span></li> <li><span>Closely monitoring the development of prototype parts under your responsibility</span></li> <li><span>Playing a leadership role in component architecture and assembly methods</span></li> <li><span>Coordinating and participating in the creation of wiring diagrams, component lists and drawings and their on-time release</span></li> <li><span>Analyzing technical problems and identifying and suggesting appropriate solutions</span></li> <li><span>Collaborating with and supporting other departments (Service, Production, etc.)</span></li> <li><span>Supporting production in BRP’s various plants</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: </strong></p> <ul> <li><span>You have a DEC (college diploma) in electrical or electrotechnical engineering</span></li> <li><span>You have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience</span></li> <li><span>You have knowledge and skills in electrotechnical engineering, electromechanics, electrical circuit design and hard wired logic</span></li> <li><span>You are independent and proactive with a strong sense of responsibility</span></li> <li><span>You are familiar with Capital, SEE Electrical Expert and Excel</span></li> <li><span>You have experience using CATIA, INCA and Mentor Graphics software (an asset)</span></li> <li><span>You are at ease in an environment where technical solutions are not known and processes have yet to be developed</span></li> <li><span>You are a great collaborator and exceptional team player</span></li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>ACKNOWLEDGING THE POWER OF DIVERSITY</strong></p> <p><span>BRP is dedicated to nurturing a culture that invites, connects, and propels the ambitions of people of all backgrounds, profiles, beliefs and experiences.
