*Position: *Full-Time Program Coordinator
*Location: *Cranbrook
*Wage: *$62,000 per year
*Hours:* 35 Hours per week; Monday ? Friday, with participation in after hours on-call duties

*Summary:*
The Program Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations and supervision of staff in our Specialized Supportive Housing programs. The Program Coordinator is under the direct supervision of the Program Manager and is part of the larger management team within Axis Family Resources participating in the on-call rotation supporting staff and persons served.
The Program Coordinator will require the ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally, as they are responsible for networking, promoting, planning, facilitating and scheduling programs in various surrounding communities. Flexibility in the weekly work schedule is expected. The Program Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the program documentation, budget, scheduling and tracking staff hours. As the supervisor of staff and a member of the Axis Family Resources management team, it is essential that the Program Coordinator work collaboratively with others, provide positive examples of professionalism, have self-motivation, and be a positive team player.

*Qualifications & Requirements:*
* A Diploma in Human Services
* Two years recent related experience (or combination of equivalent education and experience)
* At least 6 months previous related work experience in residential and non-residential programs is considered an asset
* Knowledge and direct experience in provincial or community-based social service programs is preferred
* A minimum one-year supervisory experience
* Current Level 1 First Aid (including CPR) Certification
* Clear Criminal Record Check (agency conducted, expenses covered)
* Level 1 First Aid (including CPR) - training and certification provided by Axis
* Comfortable using computer software systems
* Strong verbal and communication skills
* House management skills required such as cooking and cleaning
* Ability to work effectively independently or within a team environment
