<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>Position Summary </p><p>Manage overall plant continual improvement, PPAP submissions, preventative and corrective action activities to reduce/eliminate customer complaints, internal defects/PPM's and waste. Contribute to maintaining a Quality Management System</p><p> </p><p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities </p><ul><li><p>Responsible for continual improvement in Quality performance measurable. </p></li><li><p>Manage Continual Improvement and Corrective Action activities through <span class="long-word">leadership/development</span> of the team. </p></li><li><p>Manage process orientated Internal Audits to drive continual improvement, reinforce/develop company standards. </p></li><li><p>Continually improve relationships and company's position with Customers and Suppliers through direct interface and strong leadership. </p></li><li><p>Responsible for APQP participation, submission of PPAP's, develop and implement control plans for facility and Maintain Quality documentation as assigned. </p></li><li><p>Manage PFMEA document to drive preventative actions throughout the facility (with APQP and Corrective Actions input). </p></li><li><p>Manage all Customer concerns relative to quality performance. </p></li><li><p>Oversee / Perform calibration on lab equipment and process gauges as required, and address all lab equipment concerns. </p></li><li><p>Support and train quality auditors and other personnel as required to ensure that the products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the Quality Management System. </p></li><li><p>Actively participate in the Six Sigma, 5S and Lean Manufacturing processes to drive continual improvements and eliminate waste. </p></li><li><p>Manage and maintain visual samples, and posting of Quality reports throughout the facility </p></li><li><p>Oversee and Perform Gauge R&R analysis, maintain customer requirements and upgrade as required. </p></li><li><p>Prepare the inspection test plan, determine measurement points, manage and maintain dimensional part layouts as required. </p></li><li><p>Supervise and manage quality testing projects. </p></li><li><p>Other duties as assigned </p></li></ul><p> </p><p>Required Competencies, Skills and Experience </p><ul><li><p>Blue Print Reading, and GD&T knowledge </p></li></ul><p>• Hands on metrology experience, knowledge of calibration </p><p>• Hands on preparation of PPAP, knowledge of AIAG 5 Core Tools </p><ul><li><p>Direct experience working with customers </p></li><li><p>Previous experience working with ISO/IATF 16949 standards </p></li><li><p>Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines </p></li><li><p>Ability to train other </p></li><li><p><span class="long-word">Communication/listening</span> skills </p></li><li><p>Critical thinking </p></li><li><p>Analytical skills </p></li><li><p>MS Office suite with intermediate to advanced Excel skills </p></li></ul><p> </p><p>Preferred Skills </p><ul><li><p>ASQ CQE certification </p></li><li><p>Six Sigma <span class="long-word">certification/training</span> </p></li><li><p>Previous automotive experience </p></li><li><p>Knowledge of customer specific Requirements </p></li><li><p>Working knowledge and use of CMM </p></li></ul><p> </p><p>Education and Job Experience Requirements </p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent field </p></li><li><p>At least 1-3 years' working experience in plastics injection </p></li></ul><p> </p><p>Language Skills </p><ul><li><p>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos </p></li><li><p>Ability to write simple correspondence </p></li><li><p>Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization </p></li></ul><p> </p><p>Mathematical Skills </p><ul><li><p>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractio
