<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>We are a small accounting firm that takes pride in the services we provide our clients and the effort we put into ensuring their accounting needs are met. We are currently looking for an experienced accounting professional to join our team on a part-time permanent basis.</p><p>The successful candidate must have the following skill sets:</p><p><strong>Must have public accounting experience, minimum of 3 years</strong></p><p>ü Basic understanding of <span class="long-word">accounting/bookkeeping</span></p><p>Processing and filing of T1 General Income Tax</p><p>ü Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage 50</p><p>ü Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word</p><p>ü Strong attention to detail and accuracy a must</p><p>ü Ability to work unsupervised</p><p>ü Ability to analyze clients' documents, process the information and record the appropriate journal entries is critical</p><p>ü Carry themselves in a professional, courteous manner</p><p>Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:</p><p>• Bookkeeping for a variety of clients in different industries</p><p>• Monthly Payroll preparation and ETD remittances</p><p>• HST, WSIB, EHT filings</p><p>• Processing and filing of T2 Corporate Tax and T3 Trust returns.</p><p>• Year-End processing of working paper files</p><p>• Preparation of financial statements</p><p>• Preparation of T4, T5 and T5018</p><p>• Other accounting duties as necessary</p><p>Expected Start Date: As soon as possible</p><p>Full-time/Part-time hours</p><p>Salary commensurate with experience</p></div></div>- LocationBolton, ON
