Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of piping systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read blueprints. With a rotation of 10 days on and 4 days off. This is a small project starting May 14, and will last 3 months, and could potentially run longer. Responsibilities: -Rig, fabricate, and build piping systems according to specifications - Install and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures - Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools or machinery - Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading - Weld or solder pipes and fittings together - Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges or other testing equipment - Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure proper installation of piping systems - Follow safety protocols and adhere to building codes and regulations Experience: - Previous experience as a Pipefitter is required - Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths - Familiarity with using calipers and other measuring tools - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings - Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, and threaders - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Job Type: Full-time Pay: $47.00 per hour Expected hours: 84 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Vision care Flexible Language Requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 12 hour shift * Day shift * Overtime Experience: * pipefitting: 5 years (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationAnzac, AB
