Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Clinic. Tasks: Administer evaluative tests. Administer eye drops, ointments and medications as directed by ophthalmologists. Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures and record results, and monitor, check and calibrate auditory equipment. Assist health care professionals.
