Requirements: Bachelor of Arts with a Major in History <p> Bachelor of Education <p>Desired Qualifications/Skills: It will be an asset to have:<p> Previous experience teaching Social Studies at the 10/20/30 level.<p> The ability to work in a team environment with staff and parents.<p> A base knowledge of differentiated instruction techniques.<p> Effective organization skills and classroom management.<p> The ability to utilize technology as an instructional tool.<p> An ability to design and implement Individual Program Plans for special needs students.<p> A willingness to participate in the school community beyond the classroom.<p> An interest in teaching a wide variety of electives.<p> A commitment to continuous professional growth and a strong ability to connect and build relationships with high school students.<p> Open to teaching a variety of elective classes that best suit the successful applicant. <p>APPLICATION PROCEDURE: <p>Resumes and other relevant documents will be accepted by clicking on the APPLY tab for the specific posting on the Job Connect and follow the application instructions.
