Grace Village is committed to quality and unparalleled customer service in all aspects of resident-centered care.</p><p>The Fundraising and Sales Intern will aid the Grace Village Care Foundation in their fundraising efforts, in the form of soliciting donations & sponsorships, planning/coordinating fundraising events, creating captivating promotional material for the GVCF and their fundraising arm, Boutique Encore, as well as serving customers from our local community.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Creating captivating promotional material for both the GVCF and its fundraising arm, Boutique Encore.</li><li>Aid in the planning & coordination of various fundraising (sales) events throughout the summer.</li><li>Soliciting donations / sponsorships from local businesses & community members.</li><li>Managing teams of volunteers & ensuring the smooth operation of events / activities.</li><li>Managing social media channels and maintaining a regular posting schedule (Facebook, Instagram)</li><li>Taking photos / videos of various resident activities & external events.</li><li>Responding to customer / donor inquiries via our online channels (FB, IG, Website, Donor Software)</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>DEC or College diploma in Marketing, Communications, Sales or similar degree.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc).</li><li>Experience in customer service and/or sales experience.</li><li>Bilingual ? English & French written / oral skills.</li><li>Experience in Content Creation software (Canva, Publisher, Meta Business Suite, etc.)</li><li>Experience in event planning / coordinating is a plus</li></ul>
