Boggio Family of Pharmacies is looking for a full-time Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Practicing within their full scope, the Pharmacy Technician works in the dispensary and assists with filling prescriptions and dispensing medication - while providing excellent customer service to all of our patients! We have 6 locations across the Niagara Region - Port Colborne, Niagara Falls, Fonthill, Grimsby, Welland and Ridgeway. Come join a dynamic team and start your career with Boggios today! *Duties & Responsibilities* · Greet patients in a friendly and welcoming manner · Collect relevant patient information and ensure completeness of information · Enter and renew prescription orders on the computer using Nexxsys software · Third party adjudication (if necessary) · Confirm accuracy and completeness of pharmaceutical products prepared for release · Complete the final check of prepared prescriptions (compliance packaging) · General OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist when required · Maintain pharmacy stock through inventory control systems · Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone *Qualifications* · Accreditation as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing and adherence to the Standards of Practice with the Ontario College of Pharmacists · Experience as a Registered Technician is an asset · Experience using Nexxsys is an asset but not necessary · Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends · Flexibility to work in more than one store location on occasion · Comfortable working in a fast paced environment · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail · Exceptional customer service skills · Excellent communication skills · Positive attitude · Ability to work independently and as part of a team We thank you for your interest, only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
