This is a 12 month-fixed term position starting in September 2024 with potential for a longer term if enrolled in an electrical engineering or electrical technology co-op program.The successful candidate will work both remotely from home, and at Vale Thompson sites, alongside Engineers, Designers, and other personnel in the organization, to assist with a wide variety of tasks related to technical and engineering support. Duties may include helping with engineering work, drafting, reviewing reports, participating in quality reviews and/or audits, helping with office work and completing on-site work in our plants and/or mines. Although previous experience in mining or an industrial setting is considered an asset, we also appreciate that diversity of thought comes from our differences ? and that's what makes us great!Education:Currently enrolled and in good standing in a university or college program. Enrollment in an electrical engineering.Please include university/college transcript(s) in the applicationExperience:Previous work experience in an industrial setting would be an asset.Skills:Follow Vale's Safety Policies, Programs and Legislative StandardsStrong computer skillsAbility to work with minimal supervision and work well with others in a team environment.
