Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Work setting: Urban area. Private business. Tasks: Schedule activities. Instruct groups and individuals in arts and crafts. Assist with coordination of recreational, sport and fitness events . Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs. Plan and carry out recreational, fitness and sports activities. Prepare reports. Understand principles of group dynamics. Leading/instructing groups. Leading/instructing individuals. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Assemble supplies, sports and game equipment. Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required. Supervision: 16-20 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Student status: Full time enrollment. Part time enrollment. Security and safety: Bondable. Criminal record check. Child Abuse Registry check. Child welfare check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own vehicle.
