We're looking for innovative team players ready to take some of the most well-known entertainment brands in the country to the next level.Key Responsibilitiesover events for TV and digital, conduct interviews, write textsShoot his or her own images; set up / edit / light and produce news reports for both TV and digitalPropose and develop original subjects to cover; able to stay removed from the newsMaintain a network of contactsConfigure and use live equipment as neededFollow editorial standards and guidelines regarding accuracy, ethics and legal issuesEnsure equipment and mobile are in good working orderOther assigned tasksCritical QualificationsBachelor's degree in journalism, film, communications or equivalentMinimum of five years of experience in TV / WebProven experience in news reporting and ability to perform in front of the cameraStrong writing and storytelling skills, and knowledge of local, national and international news and current eventsExcellent writing and presentation skillsGood understanding of social networks and the audienceProven filming and editing abilitiesProven organizational skills, and ability to work autonomously under tight deadlinesGood editorial judgment; demonstrated ability to produce original and enterprising news reportsAbility to manage new and emerging technologiesKnowledge of iNews an assetValid driver's licence and good recordBilingualism required: In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada#EmployeeReferralProgramAdequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
