Job Description:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations at Golden Stone Med Spa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, exceptional organizational skills, and a strategic mindset. As the Inventory Manager, you will play a critical role in optimizing inventory levels, minimizing costs, and ensuring seamless supply chain operations to support our spa services.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs while ensuring adequate stock availability for spa treatments and retail products.
* Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of inventory.
* Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand based on historical data, market trends, and upcoming promotions or events, adjusting replenishment plans as needed to meet business objectives.
* Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory data, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions as needed.
* Utilize inventory management software and systems to track inventory movement, monitor stock levels, and generate reports for analysis and decision-making.
* Coordinate with spa managers and department heads to align inventory management processes with spa operations and service delivery requirements.
* Develop and maintain inventory management policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Train and mentor inventory management staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective performance of inventory-related tasks.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
* Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a spa, retail, or hospitality environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.
* Proficiency in inventory management software and systems, such as ERP systems, WMS, or inventory tracking tools.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Detail-oriented mindset and commitment to accuracy and precision in inventory management processes.
* Leadership skills and ability to lead and motivate a team of inventory management professionals.
