We are currently seeking a Director of Revenue Management to join our team in Montreal, QC. Responsibilities: Lead the Revenue Management team for PAL Airlines and Air BorealisAnalyze booking patterns, pricing trends to identify revenue opportunities and risks in a constantly evolving environment. Identify ancillary revenue opportunities and design strategy accordingly.Obtain and keep up to date a strong knowledge and detailed understanding of customer booking behavior and willingness to pay. Calibration of Revenue Management System (RMS) inputs to reflect recent changes in the environment. Validation of RMS outputs to ensure continued alignment with market expectations and strategies. Conduct appropriate monitoring and close evaluation of key revenue management performance indicators and adjust strategies accordingly. Proactively and effectively communicate observations and required strategiesAccountable for tracking and reporting on key financial metrics related to market pricing strategies to help achieve optimal profitabilityParticipate in the development of analytical and decision support tools. Act as a mentor or trainer to revenue management analystsLead revenue management meetingsContribute to maximizing profitability Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual reports as requiredParticipate in forecasting, and the development of the annual marketing plan.Work collaboratively with all levels of personnel and management on revenue cycle performance to meet strategic goals and develop all guidelines, policies and procedures through use of data analysis;Strategically identify and communicate critical success factors necessary to support financial and organizational goals;Lead scheduled management meetings with stakeholders and conduct detailed reviews of key performance indicators and trends;Accountable for the daily, monthly and annual reporting, benchmarking and trending maximizing technology to improve functions; Identify trends and opportunities through research and analysis. Plan and execute different research methods such as data collection, analysis and integration of data from multiple sources;Responsible for analyzing and summarizing data with subsequent communication and recommendation to senior leadership and operations;Monitor opportunities to adjust sales prices that maximize profit and acceptable rates of sale;Analyze inventory and provide recommendations for extra sections, and any issues that arise;Constant review of route performance against targets and report on deviations;Monitor competitor airlines, in terms of schedule, price, product, market share, etc.;Recommend action plans to mitigate anomalies and maximize revenueOther duties as assigned. Qualifications: Extensive forecasting, pricing, yield management experience required.Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Commerce A proven track record as a leader in revenue management within a complex organization, with the ability to think and act progressively, while motivating team members to do the same; In-depth knowledge and experience with Revenue Management Systems (e.g. PROS)5-7 years' Revenue Management experience, preferably in a large, multi-divisional organization; Strong work ethic with the drive to meet and exceed targets and goals; Confidence in delivering analysis and information to senior management; Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills; High level of integrity, confidentialit
