Our work environment includes: * Modern office settings * Client's homes * A supportive work family * Growth opportunities Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated healthcare aide, fluent in Punjabi, to provide exceptional care and support to an individual currently residing in their home in Northeast Calgary, Alberta. Only candidates residing in NE Calgary and within commuting distances are encouraged to apply. As a care aide, you will play a vital role in assisting our client with daily activities and ensuring their overall well-being. Duties: - Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing - Assist with mobility and transfers - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior - Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry - Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations Experience: - Previous experience in senior care, dementia care, or related fields is preferred - Ability to perform heavy lifting, if required - Familiarity with patient care procedures and protocols - Understanding of the needs and challenges faced by individuals in nursing homes, home care, or hospice care settings - Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients If you are passionate about providing quality care and making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
