*Inventory Manager*
*St Catharines, Niagara Region*
CanAmerican Stone Spreader is a fast growing, family run, customer centric business located in St. Catharines, Ontario. Our company started during the early 90s. Since that time with a focus on innovation and excelling in meeting our customers demanding standards, we have become a leader in the slinger truck body manufacturing market across North America, as well as the dump truck body manufacturing leader across Ontario with a full order book. We continue to explore large untapped markets across North America as we build our business for success.
As a result, we are reassessing our current management structure and gearing up to continue to drive top and bottom-line growth throughout the 2020s. The leadership team have determined an *Inventory Manager* role is needed to manage the large quantities of product stocked (>3000 items) and to assist with extending the current manufacturing control system helping to automate much of the heavy lifting around the key functions of inventory control, purchasing and receiving, works order planning and control, materials storage and issuing, and ultimate shipping. A Central Store has been set up to bring the inventory under one roof and the *Inventory Manager* will play an active role in the operation of this facility.
CanAmerican has teamed up with the Business Development Bank of Canada to help facilitate changes in management structure and developing business capabilities for the future. The *Inventory Manager *would immediately be part of this new and exciting transformational stage and it is expected the incumbent will grow with us as a leader through this transformation and beyond, making their mark on the business by developing innovative solutions to drive production performance to meet business requirements; the primary priority is to ensure the company can seamlessly work through these transitions and continue to deliver its services to its customers and employees.
Our goal is to build and sustain a high performing team of skilled and motivated individuals.
To that end, every person at CanAm will:
1. Know what is expected of them.
2. Know how much is expected of them.
3. Know how to do what is expected of them.
4. Know where they always stand.
