We are looking for a passionate and skilled South Indian Tiffins Specialist with a particular expertise in making dosas to join our team.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced South Indian Tiffins Specialist to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of South Indian cuisine, especially in preparing a variety of tiffins such as dosas, idlis, vadas, uttapams, and more. You will be responsible for ensuring the authenticity and quality of our South Indian dishes, maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
?Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian tiffins, including dosas, idlis, vadas, uttapams, and other traditional dishes.
?Ensure all dishes are prepared according to authentic recipes and meet the restaurant?s standards for taste and presentation.
?Manage the preparation and cooking processes efficiently to meet the demands of a busy kitchen.
?Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking area.
?Monitor food stock and ingredients, and communicate needs for restocking.
?Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
?Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
?Innovate and introduce new South Indian tiffin varieties to the menu.
Qualifications:
?Proven experience as a South Indian Tiffins Specialist, with expertise in making dosas and other tiffins, including idlis, vadas, uttapams
?In-depth knowledge of traditional South Indian cooking techniques.
?Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
?Excellent time management and organizational skills.
?Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
?Culinary school training is a plus but not mandatory.
LMIA will be provided to suitable candidates.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Day range:
* Every Weekend
* Monday to Friday
