*Job Description:*
We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to handle Accounting tasks of our clients. The Accounting Clerk position is an integral part of the accounting firm. You will directly manage all aspects of clients daily accounting and tax related matters. You will also be responsible for answering the phone and greeting client in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner. You will also be responsible for resolving clients issues, talking to CRA on client files, investigating on tax matters, processing payments, taking messages, Respond to emails, Manage mail correspondence, Schedule meetings and help maintain office calendar, Perform data entry and filing task, Manage inventory of office supplies, Perform other clerical tasks as needed.
* *Requirements:*
* Diploma in Accounting or equivalent required (or equivalent education and training)·
* Previous experience in a Accounts related position or customer service or administrative role preferred·
* Excellent oral communication skills and basic computer skills required (Microsoft Office Suite)·
* Must have a positive, can-do attitude with a professional appearance and demeanor. On going training will be provided to prepare personal and corporate tax returns.
* Must be able to work independently with little supervision and work well under pressure·
* Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize duties as needed·
* Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks to complete throughout the day·
* Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds of weight on a occasional basis to handle cash drawers, ledgers, client files etc.
