The London District Catholic School Board has a reputation for excellence, with more than 3,800 employees working together to educate approximately 26,000 students at 43 elementary schools, 9 secondary schools and St. Patrick Adult & Continuing Education within Middlesex, Oxford, and Elgin counties, including the cities of London, St. Thomas, Strathroy and Woodstock.Applications are invited for the position of: Speech-Language Pathologist <p>Association of Professional Student Services Personnel<p>PERMANENT- FULL TIME 1.0 FTE <p>Effective August 27, 2024<p> Salary Range (Commensurate with experience): <p>$62,779 to $86,075 The London District Catholic School Board invites applications for the<p>position of Speech-Language Pathologist, reporting to the Senior Administrator<p>of Professional Services. The successful candidate will provide<p>programming and consultative services to area schools, school based teams,<p>parents and students and to function as a system member of the Program<p>Department Team. The hours of work will be determined by the Supervisor in<p>consultation with the successful candidate.Qualifications and Skills required: <p> Master's degree of Clinical Science (Speech-Language Pathology) or equivalent <p> Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario <p> Proven ability to work successfully in partnership with students, school and system staff <p> Experience working in an inclusive school setting and with a wide range of exceptionalities <p> Knowledge of current research in assessment and intervention methods <p> Ability to work within a Problem-Solving Framework <p> Possess an understanding and appreciation of the mission of a Catholic school system <p> Ability to provide professional development opportunities for staff <p> Excellent organization and communication skills <p> Ability to be self-directed in a complex work environment <p> Ability to quickly establish effective interpersonal relationships <p>Application must include: Apply to Education Portfolio, cover letter and resume, documented proof of qualification, and the names and contact information of three professional references, one of whom is your current supervisor.
