Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: At heights. Cold/refrigerated. Hot. Outdoors. Work setting: On-site customer service. Repair. Commercial. Residential. Installation. Tasks: Determine type of glass, frames and material required. Measure, mark and cut glass. Position and secure panes in frame. Install door, window and other hardware. Repair glass doors and other glass structures. Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment. Transport cases of glass. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Work from man-lift mobile equipment, cranes and other lifting equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Type of glass/materials: Sealed units. Installation specialization: Walls and other interior areas (i.e. partitions). Security and safety: Bondable. Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Vehicle supplied by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Gloves. Experience: Will train. Health benefits: Dental plan. Health care plan.
