The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment</li><li>Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes</li><li>Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment</li><li>Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines</li><li>Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products</li><li>Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment</li></ul><p><strong>Type of Materials:</strong></p><ul><li>Aluminum alloys</li><li>Stainless steel</li><li>Welding techniques</li><li>Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)</li><li>Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG)</li><li>Gas metal arc welding (GMAW)</li><li>Flux core arc welding (FCAW)</li><li>Plasma arc welding (PAW)</li><li>Submerged arc welding (SAW) </li></ul><p><strong>Equipment and machinery experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Arc welding machine</li><li>Butt or seam resistance welding machine</li><li>Gas welding machine</li></ul></div>Company Description<div>Peel HR is one of the fastest growing HR companies in the GTA.
