Maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages. Plan and organize daily operations. Read blueprints and drawings. Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines. Direct quality control inspections. Hire, supervise and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques. Organize and maintain inventory. Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work. Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budget. Supervision: 5-10 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Safe quality foods (SQF) Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). Hazard Analysis and Criticial Control Points (HACCP) Certification. Knowledge of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Type of industry experience: Beverage. Food. Specialization/experience (business sales and services): Distribution. Security and safety: Bondable. Basic security clearance. Criminal record check.
