*Summary of Responsibilities:*
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading our overall supply chain strategy in Canada to maximize process efficiencies, align procedures and resources to increase our company?s overall EBITDA results and provide world-class service level for our customers. This important member of the Canadian Leadership Team will oversee the full supply chain cycle from production planning to customer delivery.
*Major Responsibilities:*
* Provide leadership to the purchasing and planning teams to ensure objectives and processes align with the overall business direction.
* Effective liaison with suppliers to ensure strategies, programs and processes meet business goals, objectives are clearly understood, and performance is monitored.
* Analyze markets and delivery conditions to determine current and future availability of material and services. Perform risk analysis to the business based on market dynamics findings.
* Oversee accurate inventory of Raw Materials and Finished Goods ensuring sufficient stock levels are in place, while also optimizing Working Capital and Warehouse costs.
* Participate in sales, planning and production meetings and provide input and actions related to advanced planning, scheduling and raw materials availability.
* Lead Canada?s SIOP and monthly forecasting aligned with market sales needs.
* Identify programs and processes to further improve company effectiveness and efficiencies.
* Be an active participant in fostering ?Safety as a Responsibility? throughout the plant.
* Responsible to keep updated on and ensure compliance with relevant company policies and procedures, legislation and industry standards, including trade compliance requirements.
* Provide monthly reporting on performance and variances to the Plant Manager & General Manager with countermeasures towards improvements and cost saving initiatives.
* Analyze Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) reports to provide Manufacturing with plan to support forecast / customer demand / and or safety stock levels.
* Manage space utilization and secure that production adheres to planning schedule to mitigate obsolete and old inventories impact.
* Analyzes production and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine materials and human resources requirements.
* Continual focus on performance metrics such as OTIF directly related to customer performance expectations.
* Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
* Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
* Strong collaboration with Regional Supply Chain Managers to support KPI?s and KAI?s which align to the 3 business segments.
* Update Service Level Agreements as necessary with Business owners and Process Owners.
* Assures Canada creates and issues relevant monthly and weekly reports, related to logistics and purchasing, to the operations team and project controls.
* Support and develop the team.
* Lead Supply Chain WAM Manufacturing Pillar.
*Requirements*
* 5 + years and a manufacturing environment and 5+ years in supply chain management
* Strong SAP background
* Critical thinking to challenge areas where processes need to improve
* Must have experience and knowledge of manufacturing production planning, purchasing and raw materials management
* Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to participate and facilitate group meetings
* Ability to spend significant time in the manufacturing plant
* Problem solving and decision-making skills

Pay: $95,098.78-$121,137.53 per year
