Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Tasks: Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment. Monitor and inspect quality of material produced. Pack items for shipping and distribution. Set up and operate extruding machines to extrude plastic compound through a nozzle or die. Set up and operate one or more moulding machines to mould plastic products. Prepare and change moulds and adjust equipment for production line change. Organize and maintain inventory. Trimming and sanding plastic or fiberglass parts. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Forklift Operator Certification. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Security and safety: Medical exam. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Manual dexterity. Handling heavy loads. Hand-eye co-ordination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
