SummaryCorporate Services is at the centre of the action, providing the support that enables Bell's industry leadership. The Corporate Responsibility & Environment team aims at minimizing risk and creating business value by managing environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. We are the governance team responsible to ensure legal compliance, reduce business risks, set internal standards and targets, measure and report our performance, work with business units to reduce our environmental footprint and maintain our ISO 14001 certification.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Specialist will be part of a multidisciplinary team and will perform the following duties:Responsible for helping deliver Bell's strategy to reach its near-term science-based targets;Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the organization to identify and execute opportunities decarbonize operations and the supply chain; Respond to annual reporting requirements related to climate change such as the CDP, Climate Action report, Integrated Annual Report, etc.;The specialist will also assume the role of "Specialist on Duty" to respond to environmental incidents (7/7 and 24/24) on a weekly rotational basis with other specialists;Help maintain Bell's Environmental Management System (EMS) by monitoring annual tasks assigned to operations, completing gap analyses, compliance reviews, monitoring of corrective actions and developing annual business plans.Critical QualificationsBachelor's or Master degree in carbon accounting, environmental science, engineering, or relevant discipline2-5+ years experience & knowledge of climate change strategies and disclosure frameworks Excellent communication and change management skills Well organized, capable to solve complex problems and thorough in performing tasksIn the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada#EmployeeReferralProgramAdequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.Additional Information:Position Type: ManagementJob Status: Regular - Full TimeJob Location: Canada : Quebec : Montreal || Canada : New Brunswick : Moncton || Canada : Nova Scotia : Halifax || Canada : Ontario : Toronto Work Arrangement: HybridApplication Deadline: 07/11/2024For work arrangements that are 'Hybrid', successful candidates must be based in Canada and report to a set Bell office for a minimum of 3 days a week.
