Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Noisy. Dusty. Tasks: Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Instruct apprentices. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Operate locomotive cranes to move objects and materials at railway yards. Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Assist in demolishing buildings. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Operate dragline cranes to expose coal seams and ore deposits at open pit mines. Perform routine maintenance work. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.- LocationEtobicoke, ON
