Job details
Education: Master's degree. Business administration and management, general. International business/trade/commerce. Work setting: Manufacture. Information technology (IT) service provider. Budgetary responsibility: $500,001 - $1,500,000. Tasks: Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs. Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions. Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments. Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs. Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions. Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions. Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess client feedback, enquiries and complaints in the delivery of meaningful information and services.. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Propose improvements to methods, systems and procedures. Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers. Negotiate business contracts. Liaise with departmental and corporate officials and with other organizations and associations. Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning. Assist in product development. Supervision: 3-4 people. Staff in various areas of responsibility. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Office. MS Outlook. MS PowerPoint. MS Windows. MS Word. Lean Six Sigma.
