Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Retail business. Supermarket/grocery store. Tasks: Establish work schedules. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Supervise staff, trainees or volunteers. Compile inventory reports. Order stock. Prepare inventory costs, retail pricing and profit reports. Supervision: 3-4 people. Grocery clerks and shelf stockers. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Outlook. Area of specialization: Retail store. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for youths: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers .
