Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Dusty. Tasks: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered. Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding. Prepare and install hardwood floors. Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings. Conduct moisture, ph, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations. Estimate costs and materials. Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants. Security and safety: Bondable. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination.
