Job details
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Tasks: Set machine or equipment controls. Develop computer applications for machines and processes. Read blueprints and drawings. Work with minimal supervision. Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances. Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Set up and adjust production machineries/tools. Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools. Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts. Computer and technology knowledge: Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
