*Summary* The HVAC/Maintenance Technician will be the primary technician responsible for performing onsite maintenance to HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems and equipment. Secondary accountability to support general maintenance and repair. *Key Responsibilities* HVAC/Equipment * Conduct preventative maintenance to HVAC equipment onsite * Perform regular property inspections of HVAC Systems * Maintain heating and air conditioning systems, boilers, pumps, fan units, thermostats, cooling towers, etc. * Maintain and repair hot water tanks * Maintain and/or has working knowledge of environmental safeguards and alarm systems * Troubleshoot problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust * Lead seasonal transition from heating to cooling at all properties *Maintenance Duties* * Floor removal of carpet, laminate and vinyl plank. * Repair and alter windows, doors, and locks. * Repair plumbing fixtures * Inspect on regular schedule and carry out preventive maintenance throughout the CPM properties, such as repairing, adjusting, tightening, oiling, greasing, caulking, gluing, screening, cleaning all types of fixtures, machinery, furnishings, and equipment. * Ensure all maintenance performed is recorded in Yardi. *Education and Experience* * Minimum high school diploma or equivalent education * Working knowledge and experience with Residential HVAC equipment * Minimum three years related experience in a similar building maintenance technician role * Ability to diagnose and repair air conditioning units quickly and efficiently. * License to handle refrigerants and to repair and maintain refrigeration and air conditioning systems is an asset *Other Requirements* * Employment is conditional on a clean criminal record check. * Valid driver?s license Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * On-site parking * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday * On call Work Location: In person- LocationKingston, ON
