Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Air conditioned. Work setting: Legal firm. Tasks: Draft contracts, prepare promissory notes and draw up wills, mortgages and other legal documents. Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing systems. Establish work priorities for court staff. Prepare wills, real estate transactions and other legal documents, court reports and affidavits. Draw up legal documents and prepare statements of legal opinion. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : In-house training from a law firm or law clerk program. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Accurate. Excellent written communication.
