Responsibilities:
* Professionally install HVAC equipment, Heat Pumps, accessory items, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
* Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and correctly instruct customers on proper care and maintenance.
* Learn and grow as part of a progressive and customer service-oriented team
* Create a positive relationship with customers by offering for sale other company products, services, and demonstrating your ability to communicate, problem solve all to ensure customer satisfaction
* Maintain company vehicle to neat clean and safe standard
* Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in accordance with industry standards.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
* Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure efficient operation of HVAC equipment.
* Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand system layouts.
* Collaborate with other technicians to build and install new HVAC /Heat Pump systems as needed.
* Conduct appliance repair tasks related to HVAC components.
* Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with local regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience with HVAC installation work
* The ability to assist in the development of a new HVAC/Heat pump division
* Gas 'B' ticket
* Valid driver?s license
* Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
* Able to work 5 days per week
* Able to perform all work required of this position, i.e. occasional lifting of 15 kg up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, working inside and outside in all types of weather within environments that can be dusty and/or slippery
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Outstanding customer service skills
* Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to plumb, and build as necessary.
* Familiarity with HVAC systems, appliances, and tools used in the industry.
* Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
* Certification or training in HVAC technology is preferred but not mandatory.
