*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a passion for helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals. As a Massage Therapist, you will utilize various techniques to promote relaxation, relieve tension, and enhance overall well-being. *Responsibilities* * Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages. * Assess clients' physical conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting thorough consultations. * Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to confidentiality standards. * Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns regarding their massage experience. * Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. * Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments. * Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques. *Requirements* * Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy is required. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds. * Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred to facilitate better communication with clients regarding their health conditions. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to accommodate client schedules. * Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on building positive relationships with clients. * Physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods while maintaining proper body mechanics.
