The base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.As a candidate, you are encouraged to ask compensation related questions and have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide you more specific details for this role.Job Description:KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESCUSTOMERProvide insight into leading analytic practices, designs and leads iterative learning and development cycles, and ultimately produce new and creative analytic solutions that will become core deliverablesWork closely with business owners to identify opportunities and serve as an ambassador for data scienceDesign and deliver enterprise analytic solutions for customersDevelop powerful business insights from social, marketing and industrial data using advanced machine learning techniquesWork in a highly interactive, team-oriented environment with Big Data developers, engineers, modelers and Visualization expertsSHAREHOLDERBuild complex statistical models that learn from and scale to petabytes of data.Analytical thought leadership and stay current on developments in data mining and the application of data scienceWork independently as a senior lead and may manage and direct activities related to analysis, design and support of technical data management solutions on various projects ranging in complexity and sizeEMPLOYEE / TEAMAct as a technical working lead/resource to others. Work closely with senior leadership on significant projects using GIS tools/technology and techniques.Provide thought leadership and/or industry knowledge for own area of expertise; Geospatial AnalyticsCollaborate with teammates to formulate geospatial solutions to support branch/ATM network planning and distribution strategiesSupport a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation, and teamwork; ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interestIdentify opportunities, leverage data related solutions to drive business productivity, and implement measures to enhance effectiveness and operational efficiencyWork effectively as a team, supporting other members of the team in achieving business objectives and providing client servicesParticipate in knowledge transfer within the team and other business units, including participation in cross-functional groups or committeesBREADTH & DEPTHGenerally accountable for a significant business management area that typically has enterprise wide impact or accountabilityEnterprise or functional expert, requiring broad managerial and deep specialized knowledge at the enterprise, business, regulatory and industry levelsUndertake and complete a variety of complex initiatives requiring seasoned specialist knowledge and/or the integration of cross functional processesPosition typically deals with senior/executive managementFocus on longer-range planning for functional area (e.g. 12 months or greater)May manage and prioritize multiple projects at a given timeGenerally reports to a Senior Manager or executive roleEXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONUndergraduate degree in Geomatics, GIS, Geography, Urban Planning, or Retail PlanningGraduate degree in GIS or related disciplineFamiliarity with Alteryx, Python, ArcGIS (Business/Network/Spatial Analyst modules), ESRI Enterprise, D- LocationToronto, ON
