Our employees enjoy benefits such as * Comprehensive benefit program Company match RRSP program * Continuing Education Program Company provided uniform * Safety Shoe reimbursement Social Club Events * Community Involvement Service Recognition Awards * Employee Assistance Program Referral Bonus As Patriot Forge Co. forging and machining capabilities continue to expand with the installation of new state-of-the-art equipment we are currently looking for an NDE Technician to join us in the testing of custom manufactured of steel products. *Responsibilities:* * Identify parts to be inspected by the shop order number * Transport parts to the Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) department * Read and interpret examination Standards, Procedures, Adaptation Sheets and instructions * Perform quality control inspections and tests as required. * Use only equipment that is within the current calibration cycle when so required * Inspect parts using the Standards, Procedures, Adaptation Sheets and or instructions stated on the shop order * Generate reports and or sign the shop order when the examination has been completed * Condition parts as/if required in order to be compliant with inspection requirements * Transport parts and or the shop orders to the department of the subsequent operation on the shop order * Maintain housekeeping standards in NDE area and on all NDE equipment * Comply with company policies and procedures * Perform additional responsibilities as required and appointed by management * Work various shifts as required *Experience:* * Completion of post-secondary diploma in a technical field would be an asset * Completion of classroom hours in Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant and/or Ultrasonics Testing would be an asset * Previous experience working with steel forgings would be an asset * The ability to read and interpret technical specifications * Demonstrated communication, problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skills If you are looking for a new opportunity with a company that promotes from within, Patriot welcomes you to submit your resume for consideration.
