Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee in AB, BC and Ontario. *Work Site Environment* Outdoors *Work Location Information* Various locations, On-site customer service *Specific Skills* Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required, Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, Keep maintenance reports and documentation, Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications, Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work, Service attachments and working tools, Verify and repair emission control systems, Read electrical schematics, blueprints and other technical diagrams, Clean and lubricate cranes *Job Duties* · Performing hydraulic maintenance, repairs, and trouble shooting; · Performing electrical maintenance, repairs, and trouble shooting; · Reading and interpretation of mechanical and electrical schematics; · Data bus troubleshooting; · Software uploading and addressing (sensors); · Assembling and disassembling repairs in the correct prescribed sequences; · Working with Liebher (LTM, LTR, LR, LG), Groves (GMK, RT), Terrex (CC8800-1, CC2400-1), Tadano (RT), and Sennebogen cranes; and · Basic administration duties such as maintenance reports, entering, reporting major repairs and repetitive problems. *Equipment and Machinery Experience* Crane *Transportation/Travel Information* Willing to travel, Willing to travel regularly *Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities* Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Manual dexterity, Hand-eye co-ordination, Sound discrimination, Standing for extended periods, Overtime required, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Handling heavy loads *Personal Suitability* Client focus, Judgement, Dependability, Flexibility, Accurate, Team player, Reliability, Excellent oral communication *Other* Minimum of 3 years? experience as Crane Mechanic req?d; Heavy-duty equipment technical trade certification req?d; Demonstrated experience with cranes and reading schematics req?d; Knowledge of Liebher, Groves, Terrex, Tadano, and Sennebogen Cranes pref?d; *Vacancies: 1* *How to apply* *By email* careers.ca@sarens.com Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $51.87-$54.32 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Overtime * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
