The Peachland Post, a new community newspaper based out of Peachland, is launching in November. The newspaper will be run by the local newspaper society and will not have the goal of turning a profit. The newspaper will be staffed by part-time employees and volunteers.

Vista Radio has committed to not laying off the 80 staff currently working at the outlets.
