FLO, a charging station manufacturer headquartered in Québec, is cutting 15% of its labour force, which includes nearly 75 employees at its facilities in Quebec and the United States. The majority of the positions eliminated were administrative jobs.
Fonbrai, a coal-tar pitch processing plant powered by electricity, is investing $1.2M in updating its facilities at the Port of Trois-Rivières. Half of the project cost is funded by the provincial government’s Programme d’investissement en infrastructures maritimes.

Énercycle, which specializes in waste management, awarded a contract to Therrien Entrepreneur Général in Trois-Rivières to build an administrative centre in Saint-Étienne-des-Grès. The $8.2M project should be finished towards the end of the year.
