Construction has resumed on DSM, a mixed-use apartment tower in downtown Winnipeg. Carrington Real Estate has taken over from a previous developer that shut down operations in 2023. The 24-storey building will consist of 160 suites and two floors of commercial space, including the Keg Steakhouse and Bar. It is scheduled to be complete by July 2026.

Brandon Fresh Farms is no longer pursuing its plan to build a vertical farm in the former McKenzie Seeds building in Downtown Brandon. The company is instead planning to convert the seven-storey property into studio apartments, which it expects will draw more investment.

Avedo Construction has begun work on a six-storey mixed-use building on Steinbach’s Main Street. The project will include 32 residential units and four commercial spaces, and is thought to be the city’s largest construction project in the past decade.
