Construction has begun for the Kikinow Elders Lodge in the Municipal District of Greenview. The lodge provides 12 units for Indigenous Elders and was supported by $2.3M from the Governments of Canada and Alberta as well as $2M from the Municipal District of Greenview. Construction is expected to be completed by early 2025.
